The nice thing about 750word.com is that it lets them track their statistics, and I usually ask them pretty early on: &quot;How fast do you write? How many words per minute?&quot; So at lesson 10, they turn in 7500 words and at least 10 entries to earn a C, but they&#039;ve had both in-class and out-of-class time to do that -- even as we&#039;ve often devoted the other 30-35 minutes of class to other activities.]]></description>

What I haven&#039;t done is integrated it into my formal grading as Mike has done. Because students must pass a portfolio process in order to earn at least a &#039;C&#039;/2.0, I&#039;m hoping the writing 750 four times a week will get them there, but just don&#039;t know how to score/honor it, unless I tack on something after they achieve portfolio success.]]></description>
